We’re just a bunch of local people who want to give something back to our beautiful environment by doing a bit of volunteering
We look after the built and green environment of Plumstead Common
We have regular volunteering sessions when we clean things up
We work on developing and sustaining some key sites
We work to preserve the value of the Conservation Area
Plumstead Common Nature Reserve
The Slade Ponds
Workhouse Wood
We always need people to get stuck in with a bit of hands-on work. Basically, we fill the ever-widening gap between what needs to be done and our council’s diminishing resources. But we do much more than that. Our latest big project has been reclaiming the woodland north of Winn’s Common that was abandoned at the closure of St Nicholas Hospital. We have regular work days at our principal sites, and welcome anybody to volunteer with us.
Your Plumstead NEEDS you.
